News Diablo IV Open Beta: What to expect

Stay up-to-date!
Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the Diablo IV Open Beta will take place from March 17th to 19th for those who pre-ordered the game, and from March 24th to 26th for those who haven't.
Here's what you need to know about this highly-anticipated event:
  • During the Open Beta, players will have access to the Prologue and the entire Act I of the game.
  • Players can explore the first zone, Fractured Peaks, up to a maximum level of 25. However, the progress won't be saved for the full game release.
  • Blizzard has cautioned that there may be performance issues, server problems, or bugs during the Open Beta, but they have also stated that they will use player feedback to further improve the game.
  • To join the Diablo IV Open Beta, players need to pre-order the game, which is available on PC and consoles. Those who haven't pre-ordered can still participate by signing up for a chance to play the game. However, availability is not guaranteed, and players may have to wait until the second weekend of the Open Beta.
"We can't wait for players to get their hands on the game and experience everything we've been working on. We want to hear what they think, so we can make the best game possible when we launch," says Diablo IV Game Director Joe Shely.
Blizzard has also released an in-game cinematic trailer for Diablo IV, which will be dynamically customized to include the player's character and their outfit. The developers have also announced an upcoming developer update live stream on February 28th, where they will discuss the Stronghold and Armor systems, as well as the Diablo IV Open Beta.

Lastly, for Diablo megafans, Blizzard is offering a 26-inch Inarius Premium Statue for purchase at a price of $1,100. The statue depicts one of the central characters in Diablo IV, the renegade angel Inarius, who is opposite Lilith, his former lover.
In conclusion, the Diablo IV Open Beta will give players the opportunity to experience the game before its official release. By providing feedback, players can help Blizzard improve the game further. The game's in-game cinematic trailer and customized character options make it an exciting prospect for fans of the series. So mark your calendars and get ready to dive into the world of Diablo IV this March!
