Supply of PlayStation 5 has finally caught up with demand after two years of shortages caused by the global pandemic's strain on supply chains.
Sony Interactive’s Vice President of Brand, Hardware, and Peripherals, Isabella Tomatis, confirmed the end of the shortage in an official blog post, thanking fans for their patience and stating that it should now be easier to find the console globally.
Despite previous promises to ramp up production, Sony struggled to keep the PS5 on shelves even during the holiday season of 2022.
However, fans can now expect to have more options to purchase the console, including the popular digital-only version, which is cheaper.
With new next-gen games on the horizon, the wait is finally over for fans eager to get their hands on the PS5.
